Awards

The Fiesta SATX Film Festival provides a unique opportunity for filmmakers, as a monetary incentive opportunity in the form of a film jobs grant will be available to each "official selection", not just the overall winners. Up to 150 "official selections" will be made. Our goal is to help keep the momentum going by being instrumental in helping indie filmmakers create jobs and lifetime careers in entertainment for todays and future generations.

Official Selections Winners

All festival "Official Selections" will have an opportunity to receive a film jobs grant which will be earmarked so they can apply to the next steps in taking their short film to series or they can invest into a new project.

They will receive an official certificate announcing they have been selected to be exhibited in the online Shorts Art of Film Gallery for a complete year.

During the exhibit year, mechanize associated with each individual short film exhibit will be available to visitors of the gallery. A percentage of the profits raised through the sales of merchandize for each individual short film will be awarded as a film jobs grant to each individual filmmaker.

The individual amounts each receives will be announced at the awards banquet at the end of complete year cycle and on the last night of our annual Fiesta SATX Film Festival .

Grand Prize,

Peoples Choice Award

The competition for the Grand Prize, the Peoples Choice Awards winner will run for a year and be awarded at the beginning of our annual festival.

The short scoring the highest merchandize revenue and has the potential of becoming a long term series will be awarded the Peoples Choice Award.

Golden Film Job Grant

The award winner will have the opportunity to accept the Golden film jobs grant which is earmarked for producer to create jobs in entertainment by turning their current project into a series.

The amount of this award will be granted on a percentage of the profits of all the merchandise from all the exhibits purchased by the People visiting the online gallery with three stipulations.

1. The show must go into series for streaming

2. It must be shot in San Antonio, TX

3. 25% of the lead and supporting characters must be cast with Latino talent

If the recipient cannot fulfill the requirements, the grant will go to the second place winner. If the second place cannot fulfill the requirements, the third place winner will be given the opportunity.

If the first place winner turns down the Gold Film Job Grant, they will still earn a percentage of their individual merchandise sales as a film jobs grant.

The producers will become official dignitaries of the Festival during Fiesta San Antonio week and have an opportunity to appear with the royalty at Fiesta San Antonio events with the other Festival Royalty..

Festival Royalty Awards

The winners of Best Actor and Best Actress will be crowned the King and Queen of the Fiesta SATX Short Film Festival and the Best Supporting Actor and Actress will be named official prince and princess.

They will be invited to participate in Fiesta San Antonio events the following week making appearances in crown and sash representing the Fiesta SATX Short Film Festival.
