halo: the rebellion
“Halo: The Rebellion,” is a fan film of the Halo Video game Franchise. The reason why I made this film, is because I’m a huge fan of the HALO Video game franchise. I always wanted to be a “HALO Marine of the UNSC, ODST, or Spartan. I felt that also if anybody in Hollywood refuse to cast me in there HALO films. I would just do my own Halo film instead of complaining about Hollywood or the casting office not being fair.
I did not copy the game, I created my own story based on the “HALO: REACH,” story with my own brand new characters and Spartan. The film is connected and make reference to the characters in the game franchise. I also have female lead antagonist, just trying something different. I got tired of seeing the same ole male villain, it’s just sounded like a typical boring story. Plus in my opinion I think ladies are better villains that men sometimes.
Lastly, the only thing keeping making films is because I like attending and participating in the film festivals. It’s always good fun and I enjoy hanging with all the filmmakers and festival staff. I’m not interested in being in Hollywood or being famous. I enjoy doing this for fun, helping some of my peers, and again attending and participating in the film festivals and hangout with you guys talking stories and drinking. Hope you enjoy my film. - Jamon Holmes
