Teresa Garza is a filmmaker, writer, and journalist whose journey began in Monterrey, Mexico, and continues in the United States. With a background in journalism and over 20 years in media, she transitioned from reporting to directing, her lifelong passion. Her work highlights social issues and amplifies women’s voices.

Her short Easy Prey explored empowerment and gender-based violence, while La Cuenta Pendiente examined economic inequality through a telenovela-inspired lens. With Before They Forget, Teresa ventures into science fiction, crafting a dystopian drama about memory, separation, and resilience.
