Manuel Navarro Jr., is an award-winning writer and director based in San Antonio, Texas. Born and raised on the Southside of San Antonio, He graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio. HIs fascination with film began at a young age, and he started writing for film in 2010. Some of his favorite films include Lawrence of Arabia, La Bamba, and Dazed and Confused.

He currently works in higher education as an Academic Director, where he’s contributed to high School programs and new program development, including the creation of the Digital Video & Cinema Production program. In his free time, he enjoys watching and discussing films with his sons.
